Kolofon Health was founded by passionate caregivers who have only one goal: Providing the absolute best care available for you or your loved one. Our name comes from the Greek word κολοφων, which simply means “pinnacle” or “highest point.”

For many, COVID-19 represented a low point in the quality of healthcare. The traditional healthcare management model left doctors and nurses burned out. Even worse, patients suffered from delayed care. This was heartbreaking for medical professionals pledged to save lives. Many left their profession for careers that offered less stress. Why? Because the people they worked for could not provide the needed support to do their jobs. They put profits ahead of people.

Because of the heartache we experienced watching healthcare workers suffer through this crisis, we are determined to point the way to the pinnacle of healthcare. This means adapting to the “new normal” when it comes to hiring and retaining qualified caregivers. This means addressing the isolation patients may feel as they become dependent on others. We believe in the power of touch and social connectedness. Our clients should never feel like just another name on a list, but a member of a caring community, a part of a truly functional family.
